Gum Arabic
There are two main types of tree that give out the 'Gum Arabic'.

The Acacia senegal trees are found in Africa ~ the Sahel from Senegal and Sudan to Somalia  as well as Arabia ~ and West Asia [Australia] . While  Pakistan and India concentrate on the Acacia seyal tree.
In industry the gum is called either gum arabic or arabic gum. The E number is E414.
Gum Arabic is edible . Consists of a soluble dietary fiber and is derived of 80 % fiber. 
The hardened sap used for :
- Treating or preventing
- digestive issues
- high cholesterol.
- Other uses for the Gum Arabic include:
- Traditional Lithography
- Printing
- Paint production
- Glue
- Cosmetics
- Controlling the viscosity in inks.
- Textile industries.
